Feels-like temperatures in South Florida to break 100 degrees today

“Feels-like” temperatures across much of South Florida are forecast reach over 100 degrees today.

It’s due to a combination of “ample humidity” and “sunshine,” which will result in actual high temperatures in the 90s by the early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service office in Miami.

A peak heat index of 105 degrees in forecast for Miami on June 2, with indices of 102 degrees forecast for Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Homestead…
