Coral Springs-based pharmacy cited in another state for federal regulation issues

A Coral Springs-based pharmaceutical company that distributes to over 40 states has been administratively charged in Iowa for allegedly failing to follow federal regulations.

This isn’t the first time CRE8 Pharmacy Group has been disciplined, according to reporting from the Iowa Capital Dispatch. The Coral Springs News reached out to CRE8 Pharmacy for comment on the latest charges but did not immediately receive a response June 12.

The Iowa Board of Pharmacy cited CRE8 Pharmacy on June 11 for reportedly failing to make sure compounded drugs, which are custom-made for a specific patient’s needs, adhere to federal standards intended to reduce the risk of potency errors, contamination and other issues…
