Investigators in Hollywood say several people, including police officers and children, were injured when a fire broke out inside a home early Monday morning.
According to Hollywood Fire Rescue, crews responded to reports of the blaze in the 2800 block of Pierce Street just after 6 a.m.
Officials said that a man in his 70s suffered a major head injury after he was forced to jump from a balcony to escape the fire.
