South Florida’s school districts all received “A” ratings for the 2025-2026 school year, according to data released recently by the Florida Department of Education.
This was the third year in a row that the Palm Beach and Broward County school districts received A ratings, and the seventh time that the Miami-Dade district achieved the same grade. This is the Monroe County school district’s second year in a row receiving an A rating.
According to the FDOE, “each school is graded based on the components for which it has sufficient data. Schools must test at least 95% of their students.” The school “grading formula” is focused on what the department calls “student success measures,” which include achievement, learning gains, graduation, acceleration success and “maintaining a focus on students who need the most support.”…
