LAKELAND, Fla. — When Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback announced his running mate, he touted Sean Lozano’s background in law enforcement.
Lozano worked for three years as an officer with the Lauderhill Police Department and Fishback has called him a “decorated law enforcement officer.”
But Spectrum Bay News 9 has learned Lozano was “terminated” from his officer job in December 2025 and deemed “permanently unfit for duty.” (See the termination letter below.)…
