FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A water leak along North Flagler Drive in Fort Lauderdale has persisted for about eight years, with the city now planning an emergency repair expected to cost $180,000.
The leak is coming from a valve beneath a manhole cover and sending water down the side of the street, where it collects.
