Tamarac, Florida – For Tamarac residents who could use a little help filling the pantry, Friday morning will bring a simple option: drive up, stay in the car and let volunteers handle the rest.
Commissioner Kicia Daniel is hosting a free drive-thru food distribution on Friday, Oct. 2, beginning at 9 a.m. at Waters Edge Park, 7508 NW 61st St. in Tamarac. Groceries will be available to community members while supplies last.
The event is designed to make food pickup as easy and direct as possible. Residents attending the distribution are asked to remain inside their vehicles when they arrive at the park.
