JetBlue schedules first Venezuela service for February

Oct. 2 (UPI) — JetBlue has scheduled daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Caracas beginning Feb. 4 — its first service to Venezuela, subject to government approval.

The airline filed the operational schedule Thursday for service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, which serves Caracas, according to aviation schedule tracker AeroRoutes.

The planned route would operate once daily aboard an Airbus A320. Flight B6 1821 is scheduled to depart Fort Lauderdale at 10 a.m. EST and arrive in Caracas at 2:24 p.m. time. The return flight, B6 1810, would leave Caracas at 3:40 p.m. and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 6:22 p.m.
