Minnesota tourist with early-onset dementia missing in Florida

Authorities and family members are appealing to the public for help finding a Minnesotan who’s gone missing in Florida.

William “Bill” Llewellyn, 71, was last seen Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 23, in Miami Beach. According to the Miami Beach Police Department, Llewellyn, described as a tourist from Minnesota, was recently diagnosed with early onset dementia and has been without his medication:

In a Saturday Facebook post , Llewellyn’s son says his father may have had “a serious cognitive issue that has made him confused.”

“He has always been stubborn and enjoys long walks,” he added. “We need your help finding him.”

Llewellyn is is 5’4,” weights 150 pounds and was wearing a blue polo shirt and jeans when he went missing.
