Davie man accused of tying dog outside with no food, water

DAVIE, Fla. — A Davie man is facing animal cruelty charges after police say he left a dog tied up with no food or water outside his mobile home, as temperatures exceeded 90 degrees.

According to court documents obtained by Local 10 News on Monday, Davie police responded to the trailer of Buech E Allen Michael Carter, 42, in the 13400 block of Southwest Seventh Court on Thursday after a nearby resident alerted them to the tethered dog.

The neighbor said she hadn’t “seen the dog’s owner for two days,” an arrest report states. According to police, the neighbor said that she had checked on the dog multiple times and never saw food or water…
