WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – An Illinois man is in jail despite trying to evade police Wednesday in a high-speed chase that weaved through Whitley and Allen counties.
An Indiana State Police trooper first tried to pull over a car seen speeding on U.S. 30 in Whitley County. Instead of stopping, the driver allegedly sped away and led police into Allen County while “driving in a dangerous and erratic manner,” according to the press release from ISP.
