FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Fort Wayne Police Department is reminding parents and guardians of the state’s curfew law as schools across the city continue their summer break.
According to the department, children in Indiana may not be in public during the following hours:
Under 15 years old:
- 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. every day.
Ages 15, 16, and 17:
- After 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday
- Before 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday
- Between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday
