FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The future of Fort Wayne healthcare might be seen in recent land purchases made by Parkview Health and Indiana University Health Fort Wayne.
Both systems were tight-lipped about their plans, but the acreage and location would seem ideal for a hospital, if either would choose that path.
In October, 2025, Parkview Health paid over $2.9 million for roughly 30 acres on the northeast corner of I-69 and Lower Huntington Road – right across the interstate from the new IU Health Fort Wayne hospital set to open in May.
