ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Over 6,000 customers are without power across northeast Indiana after the area received a severe thunderstorm warning from the National Weather Service.
According to Indiana Michigan’s Outage Map, 6,338 customers are experiencing a power outage. While that number has been steadily declining, as of 11 p.m. Sunday, these areas in Allen County are still without power:
- 659 customers between Coliseum Boulevard and St. Joe Center Road are experiencing a power outage.
- From Main Street through W Jefferson Boulevard, 195 are without power.
- In the area spanning from Covington Road to Broadway, 1,190 customers do not have power.
- In a large area spanning from northeast to southeast Fort Wayne, 1,068 customers are still in a power outage.
The Outage Map estimated that most will have power restored by 2:30 a.m. Monday morning.
As for other northeast Indiana counties, power outages are still sprinkled throughout as of 11 p.m. on Sunday. Across different service providers, each county is currently showing fewer than 100 without power…
