PLYMOUTH — The Mayor’s Summer of Music Concert Series rolls into its grand finale this Friday night, Sept. 11,
at River Park Square in downtown Plymouth. Fort Wayne’s premier nine-piece R&B powerhouse, the Sweetwater All Stars, will take the Senter Stage. Food trucks begin serving at 5:30 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m.
The Sweetwater All Stars were originally scheduled to appear on Friday, July 17th, but Canadian wildfire smoke and the threat of severe weather forced the cancellation of that show. After a slight schedule adjustment, the band was rebooked to close out the 10-concert series on September 11th.
Founded by Sweetwater founder Chuck Surack, the Sweetwater All Stars are made up of Sweetwater sales engineers, studio personnel, and local session musicians.
