Fort Wayne’s investment in neighborhood infrastructure improvements continues. A project to improve intersection safety led by the City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division received Committee Session approval from City Council recently. Final approval will occur at a future meeting. The planned improvement total is $339,862.
The Bluffton Road and Winchester Road Intersection Improvement Project improves intersection geometrics by moving the stop bar closer to the intersection as well as expanding the concrete island to improve pedestrian safety and define a dedicated right turn for northbound Bluffton Road.
