FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A local attorney has been appointed a probate magistrate by the Allen Superior Court Civil Division.
Timothy W. DeGroote will take over the seat, which is being vacated after forty years of service by Magistrate Phillip Houk. Houk is retiring in July of this year.
