Fort Wayne police impound vehicle in deadly hit-and-run as family urges driver to come forward

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne police are reviewing evidence after investigators impounded a vehicle they believe is connected to a deadly hit-and-run.

Amanda Green, 62, died after being hit as she walked along East Rudisill Boulevard on April 29 at 1:41 a.m.

Two of her daughters met with 21Alive Thursday, back in the area where the incident happened. They talked about their love for their mother and their hope the driver will come forward.

“You could have stopped. You could have checked on our mother. That’s somebody’s mother, somebody’s grandmother. She has grandkids, great grandkids,” Brenittella Sneed said…
