Developers plan to break ground this month on Shivers Farm—a 40-acre residential, retail and office development set to take shape on a historic North Texas farm.

The project will bring 111,000 square feet of retail, 38,000 square feet of boutique office space, 37 single-family lots and a three-acre pad approved for hotel, entertainment or additional retail uses in Southlake, about 17 miles north of Fort Worth.
“Shivers Farm stands out as one of Southlake’s most significant commercial developments in recent history, and we look forward to bringing this project to life alongside Harrison Street in one of Texas’ most affluent communities,” Terry Montesi, CEO and founder of Trademark, said in the release. “We appreciate their investment and confidence in our team and portfolio.”
A one-acre park onsite will be designed around existent heritage live oak trees. Envisioned as a walkable mixed-use destination, Shivers Farm will also feature farmhouse-inspired architecture, vibrant outdoor seating, a public art program and public gathering spaces…
