WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas (CNN) – Police in Texas were forced to get creative, using jumper cables as a lifeline to save a mother from raging floodwaters.
Officers with the White Settlement Police Department responded last Saturday night to reports of a woman and three kids in a car that was trapped in rushing floodwaters.
Responding officers found the car trapped in a canal that runs toward a creek. Rescuers got the three kids to safety, but their mother was stuck in the front of the car, which was teetering toward the water…
