Michelin Guide elevates S.F., Wine Country restaurants to vaunted three-star status

The Michelin Guide announced its star ratings for California restaurants Wednesday evening, elevating two Bay Area establishments to a three-star rating.

Californios in San Francisco received three stars, up from two, making it the only Mexican restaurant to receive that ranking from Michelin. The winery-owned Enclos in Sonoma, which first earned two stars in 2025, also received three stars.

Wolfsbane, a San Francisco fine dining restaurant from Rupert and Carrie Blease; Naides, San Francisco’s first dedicated Filipino tasting room restaurant, and Troubadour in Healdsburg, a French restaurant by night and sandwich shop by day, all received one star for the first time…
