DUBLIN, CALIFORNIA – Dish n Dash officially opened its newest location in Dublin on April 21. The restaurant, located at 4808 Dublin Blvd., is now open and already drawing in customers, especially locals familiar with its longtime South Bay locations.
As someone who loves their Sunnyvale and Milpitas locations, I was excited to visit the new restaurant with my family on opening day.
The interior is completely redesigned from the former Applebee’s space, with a more rustic feel. For the opening, the space was also decorated with balloons and flowers.
There’s plenty of seating inside, along with a spacious patio outside. Like other locations of the chain, the ordering system is fast-casual. Customers seat themselves, place their order at the front counter, and the food is brought out once it’s ready. Condiments and drinks are self-serve as well.
We ordered a few items, including the chicken kabob plate and the chicken shawarma wrap. The chicken kabob plate came with basmati rice, pita bread, and a choice of two sides. We chose the falafel and babaganoush. The chicken was a little dry, but the falafel was crispy and flavorful.
We also tried the chicken shawarma, which came wrapped in a large pita wrap alongside fries and hummus. The shawarma stood out more than the kabob, with flavorful seasoning and tender chicken. Both meals had generous portions and were suitable for sharing family-style…
