A fight over Santa’s workshop in Sanger. Is the holiday landmark in jeopardy?

In the middle of Sanger’s Brehler Square there is a small sloped-roofed building that’s something of a landmark in town.

It’s painted red, with a green door, above which a sign reads “Santa’s Workshop” in hand-painted cursive script.

The workshop stands as a visual reminder of Sanger’s designation as the Nation’s Christmas Tree City and features prominently in annual visits from Santa; during the tree-lighting ceremony and Toyland Parade (which has been running nearly 80 years)…
