Family of Fresno High student who died after PE class push for records from Fresno Unified

The family of a Fresno High School student who died after collapsing during P.E. class is seeking answers from Fresno Unified about the circumstances surrounding his death.

During a hearing Wednesday in Fresno civil court, attorneys representing Daniel Padilla Jr.’s mother filed a writ mandate asking the district to provide records related to the March 9 incident.
