FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The 144th Fighter Wing, based at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, is testing its ability to rapidly deploy.
Officials at the 144th Fighter Wing say the exercise is part of the U.S. Air Force’s routine inspection and assessment cycle of the Fighter Wing’s readiness capabilities, evaluating the effectiveness of its deployment procedures in meeting worldwide taskings.
The exercise started on Apr. 15 and will continue until Apr. 19; testing the group’s ability to rapidly deploy includes testing the ability to quickly move personnel, cargo, and aircraft.
