On Thursday, May 28th, at around 10:30pm, Sanger Fire/EMS, Pilot Point EMS, and law enforcement responded to the scene of a major accident on FM 455 near Lake Crest Drive just east of Sanger proper.
Upon arrival, emergency responders located a two-vehicle crash. One person was pronounced deceased on the scene, and at least two others were taken to a Denton hospital with serious injuries.
According to Sanger ISD, the individual who died at the scene was a 2025 graduate of Sanger High School. Two additional current Sanger High School students were transported to the hospital for medical care…
