A teenager who was due to start college this week has been seriously injured after her car was struck by a driver who allegedly ran a red light.
On Sunday, Aug. 2, Rebekah Burge, 18, had been driving her Mazda, which was filled with supplies for her new chapter at the University of North Texas, when the incident occurred, according to KDFW FOX 4. She’d been set to start at the school on Friday, Aug. 7.
At around 10 p.m. local time on the day of the crash, troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety were called to a two-way collision on the westbound lanes of State Highway 114 and Winding Meadows Drive, around 25 miles north of Fort Worth, the outlet stated…
