AUBREY, Texas — One juvenile has been rescued, and one person is still being held hostage after Aubrey police responded to a deadly conduct call involving hostages late Monday night into Tuesday morning.
According to a social media post from the Aubrey Police Department, officers responded just before midnight on Monday to the 12100 block of Thoroughbred Drive in Providence Village. The scene remained active as of 8:45 a.m.
Officials say that a male called 9-1-1 and advised that he had two female hostages and also had weapons. The suspect said he would shoot the hostages if police approached the area. He then hung up the phone and ignored several follow-up attempts from dispatchers…
