Older adults can now use Plano Rides, a Via service aimed to mitigate the limitations and shortages of current microtransit options.
Yesterday, May 4, the City of Plano revealed a new on-demand public transportation service for seniors called Plano Rides.
Plano Rides comes after a multi-year discussion about Dallas Area Rapid Transit services in Plano. While paratransit options are available, some users have expressed concern for those who do not qualify, as the service is limited to those with physical, cognitive or visual disability.
