Dance Alive acquires four works by John A. O’Connor

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Dance Alive National Ballet is honored to announce the acquisition of four works by acclaimed artist John A. O’Connor: Swan Lake/Black Swan, Mozart, Sleight of Hand, and Arabella. Generously donated by John and Mallory O’Connor, these works will become part of the permanent collection of the new Dance Alive Khoury Family Center for the Arts.

A longtime supporter of the arts, O’Connor is recognized for creating works that celebrate movement, storytelling, and the human spirit. His paintings are distinguished by their emotional depth, dynamic composition, and ability to capture the beauty and energy of performance—qualities that resonate deeply with Dance Alive’s mission.
