Jalen Brewster was always at the top of Jon Sumrall’s wishlist and the Florida Gators did a great job recruiting the 5-star defensive tackle. But at the end of the day, the top-ranked defensive player in the nation is deciding to stick with his commitment to Texas Tech.
Brewster, who recently transferred to the powerhouse Buford (Ga.) program, had been hinting at a decision since he announced plans to leave Cedar Hill High School in Texas. The move brought about another round of rumors surrounding Brewster and led to his decision to stick with the Red Raiders.

“Texas Tech from day one everything has been the same. They’ve never changed, never switched, that’s the one thing we love about them so much,” Brewster said to Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong.
