Man accused in double homicide takes plea deal ahead of jury selection in Alachua County

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Kivi Ellis, the suspect in a nearly six-year-old double homicide case, took a plea deal while jury selection began this morning in an Alachua County courtroom.

Ellis was sentenced to 75 years in prison, with a 25-year mandatory sentence.
