The Humane Society of North Central Florida has been selected as the benefiting charity of the 2026 University of Florida Homecoming and Gator Growl, bringing together Gator pride and support for local animals.
The partnership will unite the student-led UF Homecoming and Gator Growl committee with HSNCF throughout the Homecoming season for spirit nights, fundraising activities, community outreach and signature events, according to an HSNCF release.
HSNCF is a local no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the needless euthanasia of healthy and treatable pets throughout North Central Florida.
