A 3-year-old child was killed on Sunday afternoon after she was struck by a pickup truck that was backing out of a driveway in Ocala, just two months after a similar accident claimed the life of another local child.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at a residence located at 5431 NE 35th Street, within the Lindale Mobile Home Park in Silver Springs, on Sunday, April 12.
