HAWTHORNE, Fla. – A 44-year-old Ft. Myers man was killed this morning while walking in a travel lane of U.S. Hwy 301 in Hawthorne.
According to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 6:10 a.m. on April 19, a sedan driven by a 47-year-old Gibston man was traveling northbound on U.S. Hwy 301 near SE 41st Lane when it struck a pedestrian walking in the right northbound travel lane of the highway…
