PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is accused of shooting and killing his cousin inside a Peoria home early Thursday morning.
Just before 9:30 a.m., Peoria police officers were called to a reported shooting at a home on Clara Lane near 91st Avenue and Beardsley Road.
When officers arrived, several people were outside the home, and 23-year-old Nickolas Izaiha Benson walked out holding a gun, police said. Officers said Benson held a gun to his head until he was hit with a less-lethal beanbag and taken into custody.
Police then went inside the home and found 22-year-old Justice Parton lying on a bed with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene…
