Man arrested after two assaults and attempted kidnapping in Kentwood

KENTWOOD, Mich. — A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged for two separate assault incidents in Kentwood.

On May 13, just after 2 p.m., officers with the Kentwood Police Department (KPD) responded to an assault that happened the day before between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Poinsettia Avenue Southeast.

The victim, a 66-year-old woman, said that she was working on her yard when the suspect stopped his vehicle, spoke with her, made unwanted advances, and physically assaulted her.
