Retail fraud linked to suspects tops $6,000 across Kent, Mecosta and Ottawa

MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Two have been arrested in Mecosta County on suspicion of retail fraud totaling more than $6,000.

On Tuesday, June 23, at 2:50 p.m., deputies arrested Rodney Yarber, 42 and Destiny Carrillo, 26, during a traffic stop on U.S. 131 Southbound near Mile Marker 130 after an attempted retail fraud at the Walmart in Big Rapids Township.
