Construction crews are busy making repairs to Michigan’s major roadways.
More than 60 road projects and special events will begin between Sunday, Aug. 16, and Saturday, Aug. 22, resulting in various levels of closures, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. Those are in addition to dozens of ongoing local and state-level projects.
This week, drivers should be aware of closures on U.S. 131 in Wexford and Kent counties, M-28 in Alger and Ontonagon counties, I-96 in Ionia County, U.S. 23 in Washtenaw County and U.S. 41 in Marquette County…
