GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — While most of Grand Rapids’ public pools and splash pads will welcome visitors Saturday, Briggs Park Pool will be closed.
In a Monday email to News 8, a city spokesperson cited “holiday weekend staffing issues” for why Briggs Park Pool would be closed July 4.
“We maintain enough staffing to keep two pools open on July 4,” a spokesperson said.
