GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A documentary being screened in town this week tells the story of Apollo 1 and its crew, including Grand Rapids native Roger Chaffee.
“What I hope people will take away from the film is just how pivotal an event that was in the history of human spaceflight,” documentarian Mark Craig said.
