MICHIGAN — A 35-year-old Spring Lake man was killed early Sunday morning following a motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck in Crockery Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they were called to the scene shortly before 12:30 a.m. near State Road, west of 136th Avenue, for a report of a motorcycle versus car crash.
Investigators determined the motorcyclist was traveling west on State Road when a pickup truck, driven by a 39-year-old Kalamazoo man, was backing out of a private driveway onto the roadway. The truck was also headed westbound and had two passengers inside…
