GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — A loose tire sparked a seven-vehicle pileup on the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge, and a semi-truck driver is now facing charges for tailgating during the chaos, according to Green Bay police.
Investigators determined that the chain-reaction crash on Friday, July 31, began when a tire broke loose from a vehicle. The runaway tire bounced down the bridge, striking several cars along the way.
