Northeast Wisconsin mourns the loss of Dolly Parton, recalls her connections to the area

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Dolly Parton, the country music icon whose unmistakable voice, larger-than-life style and generosity touched generations, died Tuesday.

In Northeast Wisconsin, news of her passing is bringing back memories of the times she performed here, and the legacy she leaves behind.

At Rock N’ Roll Land record store in Green Bay, owner Todd Magnuson said Parton’s music will continue finding new listeners for generations.

“Who doesn’t love Dolly Parton?” Magnuson said. “There’s always going to be a next generation of fans that are going to find her. She’ll be huge still. Never going to go away.”…
