GREEN BAY– In 2001, when Nora Grajeda made the tough decision to move from her home of Guatemala to the United States, she was a teacher and had no plans of running her own business.
Her number one priority was forging a better life for herself and her children. Just six years later, her ethnic supermarket Mi Favorita came to fruition. Now today, her family was there to cheer her on as Mi Favorita opened a second location on the West side of Green Bay.
She was kind enough to share that when the business started, she had nothing, but she wanted to build something for her community that would bring different cultures to the area and share them…
