KAUKAUNA — The city of Kaukauna appears to be considering the purchase of River View Middle School after the new middle school opens in 2028.
According to the agenda from last night’s common council meeting, councel members had scheduled a closed session to discuss buying the property:
- e.Adjourn to Closed Session Pursuant to State Statute 19.85(1)(e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session – River View Middle School.
Construction on the new middle school located on the city’s south side near the high school is under way, following the groundbreaking in June.
The project remains on track and is scheduled to open for students at the beginning of the 2028–2029 school year…
