THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A 20-year-old Thomasville man has been charged with felony child abuse after authorities say his 2-month-old daughter suffered serious brain injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began May 22, 2026, when deputies were notified by staff at Wake Forest Baptist Brenner Children’s Hospital after the infant was brought in for treatment.
