RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Randolph County deputies seized more than 500 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 85 in Archdale last week, authorities said.
Detectives with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team Highway Unit stopped a vehicle May 29 for a traffic offense and conducted a probable cause search, uncovering approximately 523 pounds of marijuana.
