Jordan Spieth’s escapability is stuff of legend. So much so that there’s even a term for it. Anyone who makes an unlikely birdie or par after getting themselves into deep trouble has made a “Spiethian save.”
So, at this point, nothing Spieth does in that regard should surprise us. But he might have painted his magnum opus on Friday at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
