HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — Expect some low-level clouds and areas of patchy fog early Friday morning with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s as you head out the door.
Skies will be partly cloudy to end the work week with afternoon highs in the upper 80s. A pop-up shower or storm can’t be ruled out in the afternoon, but most remain dry. Better chance for some isolated storms is west, in the mountains and foothills. The chance for storms is 20%.
This weekend will continue to feel like groundhog day with high humidity, isolated afternoon storm chances and partly cloudy skies. Morning temperatures will be in the low 70s both days and afternoon highs reach the upper 80s. Humidity will make it feel more like the low to mid 90s. Isolated storm chance is slightly higher on Saturday versus Sunday but be prepared for a pop-up shower or storm both afternoons. Winds remain out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph all weekend.
